Steal her Style - leopard print and breton stripes.

Love, love, love Breton tops, often talking about them as you know.  A timeless classic that should form part of any womans capsule wardrobe and a garment that works for any age group, as will the look seen on Jessica Alba recently.

Teaming a leopard print scarf with your breton top is not an obvious way to accessorise it, but you have to admit it works and I am always excited by new ways to wear items that I wouldn't normally put together, its all about pushing the boundaries and experimentation, even when it comes to casual daytime style and providing the garments worn are what I classify as "age appropriate" I don't have a problem with stealing the style of someone in her 20's!

Shopping my own Wardrobe.  Hat, Next. Sunglasses, Dior. Breton top, Gap. Scarf, Louis Vuitton.

Leopard print scarf was £18 now £9, Oasis. Striped top by Splendid was £70 now £35 at net-a-porter. Chunky Knit Beanie Hat was £22 now £12 from Kew. Sunglasses, Tom Ford was £240 now £120 at The Outnet.

I also love how you can put this look together for half the normal retail price with the sales still in full swing and every item featured can be classified as a classic investment purchase that can be mixed and matched with many of the garments already in your wardrobe, at a bargain price!

Pleased to say this is just another way for me to get even more wear out of the LV scarf but will you be mixing Leopard print and Breton Stripes together this season?

  6. I think every t-shirt I own has stripes! PS I will empty the cupboard and send you some more goodies! Remind me did I give you Downton Abbey last time?

  7. I love stripes but have a fear of animal prints, I envy people who wear them such nonchelance, they really do carry it off. Myself I always feel a bit Patsy in them.

  8. Plain Jane - I don't know what people are afraid of with animal print, I know its a bit like marmite, so many people feel like you, but I have always loved it and I can't see that changing anytime soon! xx
